Voëlkop is the longest existing Gay Men’s Guest Farm (Est 1990) in South Africa and celebrated the 31th birthday during 2021.
The Guest Farm provides an environment for men to get in touch with a beautiful natural resort, set in the Magaliesberg area and bordering the Pilanesberg, an ancient volcanic area which is a spectacular World Heritage Site.
Voëlkop Gay Men’s Guest Farm offers easy accessibility from the Sun City road (refer to the maps tab) and is approximately 1 hour from Pretoria and an hour and a half from Johannesburg, all on tar highways. The resort is conveniently reachable from OR Tambo International and Lanseria airports. Transfers can be arranged at additional costs.
The resort is ideal for weekend breakaways and is an excellent, comfortable and affordable base to explore surrounding areas, all within an hours drive. Places nearby include the Pilansberg National Park, Sun City, Hartbeespoort Aerial Cable Way, Cheese farm, Hot air baloon rides, Cradle of Human Kind, Sterkfontein Caves and the Chameleon Village should you want to use Voëlkop Gay Mens Guest Farm as a base. There is also a shopping center 10km away with numerous shops, supermarket, pharmacy, etc on the Sun City tar road if you require anything not available at the resort. Brits is closest town providing medical care.
Voëlkop Gay Mens Guest Farm is a men only naturist resort and you are not obliged to be naked.
A real Bushveld bar (fully licensed) is available and overlooking the cold pools, beautiful mountains, lush gardens, shady lawns and the unique bushveld.
