West Forty RV Park is a privately-owned campground with a range of camping options including standard RV sites, big rig-friendly sites, small camper sites and tent sites. Both drive-through and back-in site options are available. Most camper/RV sites have full utility hookups. The campground’s primary owner, Paul and husband Chuck, operate the campground and live on-site during their open season. The campground does not offer a clothing optional experience due to local city ordinances.
Every site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Other campground amenities include new bathroom/shower facilities, free overflow parking, Wi-Fi access, an ATV/OHV washing station, free air, a pre-ride staging area, electric vehicle (EV) charging, camp store, ice, firewood, propane tank exchange on-site, and rental games for your convenience.
The campground hosts two CampOUT events each year that are promoted to members of the LGBTQ community and their allies. A portion of profits from these weekends goes to support local Pride events and HIV charities.
The campground has easy access to the Mesabi Trail, Iron Range OHV/ATV Park and nearby Mesabi Mountain Trail for your off-road adventures. Both Ely Lake and Lake Ore-Be-Gone are just 1.5 miles away.
